The Wrong Trousers

February 15th, 2008

Rees has been a big fan of Wallace and Gromit since he was very small. He likes all the films, with each one being his “favorite” from time to time. One of his favorites is “The Wrong Trousers” (click here to see clips from the movie).

He likes it so much that he has determined a way to dress up to look like he is wearing the Techno Trousers in the movie. First he takes off his shirt. Then he puts on some sweatpants or pajama pants (anything with an elastic waist) and hikes them up as high as possible around his chest. Then he puts on some Converse low-tops (they have a round toe that looks similar to the shoes on the Techno Trousers). Then he walks around the house, goose-stepping like a robot. This tends to escalate into running around the house at full speed and/or climbing all over the furniture like it’s a jungle gym.

As you may have guessed, it is comical. He’s been doing this for nearly a year, but I am usually too busy laughing at him to take a picture. Bryan finally took some this week.
