Fairy tales

May 14th, 2008

Today Rees told me a fairy tale. He must have seen the story on some PBS show, because we don’t have a book with this story in it. His tale went something like this:

  • Rees: Mom, I want to tell you a story. About a boy named Jack and a very tall plant called a beanstop. And at the top… There’s a giant.
  • Me: Oh boy. That sounds like a good story. Is it a nice giant?
  • Rees: No! And it says, “BEE! FINE! FOUR! FUN!”. Very loudly.

Okay, that kid is so cute. I love stories that little ones say, they are always so funny.
