Fush! Fush! Fush!
Unfortunately, Bryan ended up working most of the day today (he had hoped to have the day off). In his absence, we went to the aquarium, where they just happened to be having a New Year’s Eve party. There was food, face painting, an inflatable slide, activities, etc. It was fun, but crowded. A local radio station was doing a remote, and I assumed that no one cared about this lame station’s stunts. I was very wrong. Many people cared about the lame station’s stunts. And we were counted among them since we showed up!
James is saying so many words now. Rees and I must have heard him say “Fush!” (fish) a hundred times during this outing. It is cute the way he talks in full “sentences” - a bunch of gibberish with a few words thrown in. “Ga-da-woo-woo-blah-blah-wah-doo-FUSH!!!”
Bryan and I rang in the new year at home with some snacks, a movie, and sparkly juice. The kids went to bed long before midnight. Oh, what a full life we lead.
